thank you!! :)

The lighting really s***** today though :(

I can't wait till the day we have enough room for me to experiment more with natural light sources (more windows) and maybe even a garden to take outdoor stock... That day will be such a bliss :)

Indeed, it will be nice.

You can alway try and go to a park in your costumes to do your shots :D

great image as ever!! as a thought Ida, if you are trying to even out the light a bit, then use the same position but use a white sheet/polystyrene board/tinfoil to the right of the image and where the camera is to bounce the natural light back on to you - shouldn't be as hard as flash effect is. ok, hope that helps and chat soon - hope alls going well for you?!

If life gives you lemons - ask if they are unwaxed and then make risotto - at least you won't be facing life on an empty stomach...:D

yeap I did on the last shoot, I had to change angle too though, and look towards the window instead, then the lighting was too bright, so I'll see if I can even it more out next... seems that no matter what I do under my circumstances there is a slight error, whether it be too much or too little light :o :faint:

I wish I had more room! :(

lol!!! ok, then the next thing i would suggest is maybe trying a sheet of either linen or muslin (or fibrefleece from the garden centre) over the window to soften and reduce the light coming in a bit, but you'd have to try the different materials to see how much light they let in. i would suggest changing the time of day you shoot at, but with a side window then obviously some of the day you'd get no light i assume? as to room...amen to that!!!!

oh fibrefleece, I'll definitely try that!

Yeah the problem is that I have to do the shoot when the situation are for it, Lyra sleeping or at daycare, and I don't have to do so much else hehe, so I often don't have the possibility to wait untill late afternoon :(
